I want to have a message waiting indicator on a 3904 phone so the user knows when there is a voicemail on this other mailbox. What are the commands to do that? Thanks T

go on the "other" mailbox profile and add the DN you want to light up to the MWI section

KEY 02 XMWK 73003 54418 is the command I use, the 73003 is our mailsystem extension and the 54418 is the extension for this mailbox

there is no need to add a key to light up another set when you can have multiple sets light up when one user gets a voicemail.

I don't want to use the Message lamp on the phone because there is already a voicemail on that phone. I want the girls to know when there is a message on the night voicemail.
I did what was shown above and I got the following
ECHG yes
ITEM key 3 xmwk 3999 1401
SCH1206

SCH1206
DN to be associated with XMWK key is not configured on this set.
Configure the DN as non-PDN.
Severity: Info

KEY xx MCN (or SCN) 54418

The extension number needs to appear on the set.

if mailbox is 2222 and voice mail number is 4444

key 3 xmwk 4444 2222
