Hi,
I would like to change the date/time of our 9006 systems. I was told this would require a 2nd level password. We have terminated system support so how can I change the date and time?

Thanks

The service level passwords are different for every system in most cases. It would be impossible to tell you what it would be for your system. If you had a really good relationship with your tech and they trusted you not to screw anything up they might be willing to give it to you, or if you attend the appropriate training class and sign a non-disclosure agreement you can usually get it.

Otherwise, sorry, you're probably SOL.

I can tell you that if you hook a serial cabl to the top serial port of the DM3L/DM4L card on a 30E, or the correct one of the serial ports on the back of the 80E that you can set your comms for 9600, 7E1 and use a TVI910 protocol with the TVI910 keyboard mapping that comes on the 3.5" support floppy that is probably with your main system tapes (and using procomm) you can access the system via RMX. You will see a ################# prompt, at which point you hit CTRL-T to login and you will get a > prompt. Then you type your commands just like you do in Direct AMO (ex: dis-sdsu you need to have the dash after the first 3 chars). That realm is still password protected but you can do a bit more. You can also wipe your system off the map from there, but it usually requires a password!

Thanks for the input. I'll try to bug the tech or may need to 'pay up' for htis request!.
