I am trying to set up a second email account with Outlook. The second account email address, as an example, would be Bill@Second.com. In the Email Accounts setup in Outlook, I have (or should have?) the following:

Your name: Bill
Email address: Bill@Second.com
Incoming mail server (POP3): what goes here?
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.Second.com Correct?
Username: To my current ISP or the new server?
Password: To my current ISP or the new server?

Im more settings under the General tab:
Reply email: Bill@Second.com ?

Im more settings under the Outgoing server tab:
My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Checked?
If so, other info into boxes?

TIA, Bill

You'd have to ask your ISP (second.com?) for this information.

Have to make some assumptions about your position.

It sounds like your new mail account is for a different domain name to your current one. In this case smah's response is quite correct - you'll have to get advice from the ISP on pretty much all of the configuration parameters.

If, however, your new account is for the same domain as your current one, you should be able to review the existing account parameters and pretty much copy them across to the new one (changing, of course, the email IDs, login names and passwords appropriate to your new ID). It would be peculiar for the ISP to use fundamentaly different settings for users on the same domain using the same server.
