I am trying to find out of you can use seperate access codes to access different trunks. say they dial 8 to go out trunk group 1, but dial 9 to go out trunk group 2. I don't want to allow TAC's to be dialed, so i am hoping somebody here could point me in the right direction.

system info:
G3SI V9

Thank you

Scott

High level:

You can use (2) ARS Access Codes, but you'll need to incorporate partition routing and COR.

Folks that dial 8+10 digits would be in COR 8 (time of day 1) and use partition route table 8/1. It could then point to route pattern 1 with trunk group 1.

Folks that dial 9+10 digits would be in COR 9 (time of day 2) and use partition route table 8/2.It could then point to route pattern 2 with trunk group 2.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
