I have just reinstalled my Exchange 2003 server on Windows 2k Server due to some errors with OWA and I was hoping that it would also reolve the issue with incoming email attachments being over 2mb bouncing back with the following error message:
Reason: Remote host said: 421 SMTP service not available, closing transmission channel
I have tripled checked all my options in various locations such as system manager and active directory and made sure that they are all set to NO LIMIT. I have also reviewed my Firewall unit settings with no luck in finding the source of the problem.
It is possible that my T1 provider has me on a fractional line and its timeing out?
