When it's true, that CR7 is not fully 2k compilant, what means that for my application running now new under 2k with reports generated in CR7. Do I have to expect problems running CR7 rpt's under 2k in the future maybe, I think not, does anybody have already made experiences with that?
Or is only related to the development...
An answer is much appreciated!

I have some clients who are running existing Crystal reports under Windows 2000. No problems have been reported so far.

Hi,

When it says that CR is not Y2k compliant the only real relevance is to the fact that CR does not cater for Y2K windowing.

IE.
yy = 00 - 49 returns 2000 - 2049
yy = 50 - 99 returns 1950 - 1999

as apposed
yy = 00 - 99 returns 2000 - 2099

A two digit year will by default be associated with the current century. All windowing logic must be done within the report itself !!!

Hth,
Geoff
