2GB limitation on cpio -p

Need to backup file larger than 2GB (in real-time situation) to Windows and need to use cpio to collect and write those recently updated files.

Hi,

Try to gzip the file before backup and unzip it once in the target environment.
If it can't be reduced using gzip, take a look at the man of split command.
