2ffat,

You display a quote by James P. Cottingham in your posts, I have been trying to find another source on that quote to confirm it but have been unsucessful. Can you suggest another source for me to review?

Actually, I am James P. Cottingham. Which quote do you want? I change them from time to time. Currently, I quoting Dorothy from Wizard of Oz ("There's no place like 127.0.0.1"). Previously I quoted Albert Einstein. I forgot who I quoted before that. :)

I am refering to the quote:

I am the Unknown lead by the Unknowing.
I have done so much with so little
for so long that I am now qualified
to do anything with nothing.

I remember reading somewhere that this quote was originaly spoken by one of the designers of the C++ programing language, do you know anything about the origins of the quote?

Howdy,

I have seen something very similar published on signs and whatnot only with some different language, but the same basic idea is maintained:
For so long the unknown led by the unwilling have been doing so much with so little that now they are asked to do the impossible with nothing...

I think I fit in there somewhere...
