I'm using 2960 X with the flex stacking modules.

I currently have a 3 member stack in my computer room. My question is, I'm going to be adding 3 more switches that are located away in other bldgs. I will be connecting via fiber SFP+ modules. do those switches that I will connect using SFP+ modules get added to the stack ? or are they configured just like standalone switches with there own ip address ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I think you can have a gigastack cross-connect, but I can't remember...since those are full vs half duplex

You would make them standalone switches with addresses. They can only be part of the stack if they are tied together with the backplane stack cables.
