2908 switch wont boot

im getting this error:

It looks like i cant access the flash on my switch. Please help. Thanks

To me that doesn't look like a valid IOS name , looks like it is missing the ending . follow the instructions for corrupted or missing IOS .

Its been runing on that IOS for more than a year now. I tried all that but when i try to read or write to flash i get "permission denied". I think maybe my flash memory went bad or something.

ok this is what is in my flash dir:

my boot image is 0 bytes. So it look like just a bad image.

How did you do the
dir: flash
???
Did you take the flash and throw it into another switch?

If you look at the dir flash : you will notice the IOS imagename is there but it has 0 bytes for the filesize . it is either wiped out or corrupted . You will probably have to xmodem a new image into it .
