2900 xl replacement

I've got a Catalyst 2900 XL switch, the fans are on their last leg my question is what would be a good replacement that would still have the two fiber ports, or equivalent?

If you want the next best thing, then the 2950 series.

But, if you want a very inexpensive CatOS switch with GB fiber ports, look on Ebay for the 2980G

Based on what Cisco switches are current then 2960 or 2960G's are the replacements. The 2950 is EOL and software development has stopped. 2970 & 2948G are also EOL....
