2900 and 1600 VLAN Config?

Hi,
The company I work for are trying to configure 2 x 2900 switches into 2 separate VLANS. These will be connected via ISL routes to each other. We have a 1600 router connected to one of the switches through a trunk route.
I'm aware that the router interface needs to be configured for 2 different IP addresses.
Am I going about this correctly? Any help with config would be much appreciated.
