2820 switch console error

Help! I'm trying to console into our 2820 switch. When I fire up
hyperterminal, using 8,N,1, no flow control, I get ATQ0H0 in the window.
This happens using 3 different null modem cables, etc....tried a straight
through, all get the same thing. Even tried all sorts of different port
settings for hyperterminal. Nothing works, and teh switch remains out of
production. How can I connect to this switch via console? Can't use IP,
someone got in the config and changed all the addresses to we don't know
what. Thanks!

This is almost a year old and not sure if anyone even cares anymore but the ATQ0H0 means your console cable is not a compatible RS232 cable, make sure it is a Null Modem cable.
