I have a 2811 with 2x HWIC-4ESW's.
The seond 4ESW doesnt seem to work right.
I read a bit about having to stack the modules but that seems crazy to have to waste 2 ports of the 8 i wanted.
I dont need both switch modules to act like 1 8 port switch, every port of the modules has their own vlan and such.
Any thoughts? and can anyone explain the stacking more?
Should I just plug F0/0/4 to F0/1/1 and then use the stacking commands? This would seem to bring me from 4 usable ports up to 6.. Hardly optimal.
I can also post a config if needed.
