2616 sets and DMS100

Hi,

Can we use 2616 sets on a DMS 100? We are looking at buying a solution that would need to interface with 2616 ports (M1 environment) but we are in a Centrex environment.

If it does work, would we lose some features or would be as if we were into an M1.

they won't work.

nortel does make digital sets that will work on a dms, but you will lose a lot of features, my problem with centrex is having changes made. you call a service center, place an order with a clerk, that reaches a tech, the changes are made, not tested, not labeled.. and usually not what you wanted.. at least with the 81 when i make changes, someone here in telcom visits the phone to verify. and i call the end user to make sure that the paperwork reflects the needs of the user
