How would I configure the networking on the 2600n so I can control the printers permissions through Active directory?

You should be able to add the printer to the server, and there's a checkbox for "list in the directory".

To my understanding, you don't control the printer's permissions through ADUC (Active Directory Users and Computers), but instead by right-clicking on the printer icon on the SERVER, and setting the permissions there.

If that doesn't answer your question, please re-state it with some more information about what you're trying to accomplish.
