256 / 512mb systems

apologise for the stupid question but I really am having a blank moment,.................
there was a thread on here a while ago that showed how to find out whether a controller had 256 or 512mb ram from the web browser.
I know you can connect directly to the front and reboot to find out but this isint feasible.

how do you find out the amount of memory from the ESM???
