2524 module and IOS update/ram questions

Hey,

just acquired a 2524 modular router.
I think I need a Five-in-One Synchronous Serial WAN Module
if I want to connect it with DTE/DCE cable to a 2501. Is this right?

Now the IOS...
It has 11.2...I want 12.x.

What amount of each kind of memory do I need?
I have a feeling I need more.

You are correct. The 5-in-1 will allow you to connect to a 2501 w/ the DCE/DTE cable.

Also, with the amount of memory on your router, you will be able to put 12.x IP only. Anything more will require a memory upgrade.
