2500 Hardware problem....maybe?

This is the error I get when I boot the router...

Could this be bad flash meory?
Or maybe the wrong type memory?
I can't save my running config to tartup. I get the invalid at marker error on "startup-config"

I also get this error when I try to upgrade the IOS.

looks like a hardware problem.. perhaps u may think about upgrading to a 2600...

Did you put in the flash memory from a different router? It looks like the router is trying to load the wrong bootstrap image.

The IOS image was given to me by a guy at work. The part that I'm worried about is the message at boot...
