I have a 2400 with a DRU remote, at another location in the next town.I also have one T-1 in the switch for both locations.I've assigned the trunks(ATRK)for main location as route 1,and the trunks for location in next town to route 2.Whenever a station dials 9 for outside line,i want it to got out on a specific group of trunks (i.e.Route 1)if its one location and route 2 for the other location. The reason for this is caller id. purposes for 911 especially. Please give me the steps to correct this problem. Thanks for your help.

Try using ARSC ,
Let’s assume the all PBX users are RSC 1 and you want the PBX users to use Route 1 and RSC 2 is not used by another extensions, RSC 2 will be come your DRU phones.

ARSC RTE 1 Make RSC 2 RRI 0-3 AS 0’S
ARSC RTE 2 Make RSC 1 RRI 0-3 AS 0;S AND RSC 2 RRI 0-3 MAKE 1’s
If you have direct in dial numbers //incoming toll free numbers verify what route is used for the inbound call , you may have to allow incoming calls on the route
Make sure your AFRS route in ARSC is allowed on all the RSC’s who you want make outgoing calls.

RRI 0 IC Restrict via ATT/STN
RRI- 1 IC Restrict Direct (DID, DNIS)
RRI – 2 Outgoing via attn
RRI – 3 outgoing direct

RES O RESTRICTED
RES 1 Allow
RES 2 Toll

Pick an extension in your PBX and change the RSC make test calls in and out to make sure you are ok.

Change the RSC on the DRU extensions to RSC 2

I should have also mentioned if you only wanted to send 911 calls to Rte 2 use ATDP
