I think it was called ComX or something like that? I have a customer who doesn't have a security key and I misplaced my old one when I upgraded from the ICS to IPX at another site. And working directly with NEC under a maintenance contract still comes up without any parts unless I supply them since the switch is super EOL.

Thanks in advance.

It was a DOS program/command called DING. I may still have a copy but I'll need some time to find it.

Thanks for the follow up. I might have it somewhere, so I'm digging through a bunch of discs / old computers that I use to support these systems at my regular sites.

I'm even willing to purchase a cap if someone has it available.

Here in Oz We never had dongles just an open program. I can see if I can dig the program out for you if you want to try the Ozzie version!

Thanks belevedere, I will be testing soon. And OzzieGeorge -- sure, the more info the merrier.

Thank you guys!

It worked!!

Thanks belevedere. You the man.

OzzieGeorge-- if you find that app, I'm still curious.

Thanks Ozzie -- what app am I looking for? I've landed in a directory with a ton of files.

That is the entire Mat program that doesn't need a dongle, it's what we use in Oz to talk to the ICS.
