I have a system that can't conference anymore. 3 way conference. I tried making rt 909 idle. I tried making the trunks idle. I tried to delete the trunks - wouldn't let me; error message. If I were to reset the CS33 card, do think that would help?

The CS-33 card is for the attendant consoles. It does not handle CNF. Do you have redundant time division? If so, then try CMOD to the standby side. What happens is that some techs forget to set the switch settings on the PC-36 and SW-10 cards for CNF on the redundant side and when it switches over you lose CNF.

Thanks. I noticed they were on cpu 1, but I really didn't give a thought after that. I will try that today, hopefully. Thanks again.

I called them and had them to a cmod on the tsw. They said it didn't fix the problem. I probably should go and pull those cards out and check them. I want to say they have had this problem before and the only solution was to reset the system.

I did verify the cards are set for conference. Any ideas?

If you tried CMOD the CPU, then look at DCON for the conference trunks. If they are all idle, then you may have no choice but to boot the system. Make a good set of back ups before you do it. If they show busy, try MBTK to make them idle.

This maybe mute, but when you do try to do a conference, it actually gets both calls on the phone. But you only switch between them not join them. I will see if I can get them to do the dcon.

Well, since they don't know when it worked last, maybe so. I tried the dcon on the trunks for rt 909 and they are all showing busy. If you make the trunks idle, it still doesn't change the status of the trunks. I'll will look at the manual on brokers call. I am not familiar with it.
