Dear,
i am trying to bring up neax 2400IPX ( I have Dual CPU), i have installed R26 version in the PCIA card through FLVCTR from MAT tool, and i plugged on the cpu slot, sense switch in position '1',swicth on the power and i can see indication CPUOPE lamp green steady, and changed the switch settings to 2 and i can see status '2' on the Status lamp. i tried same thing in other CPU but it shows PIMOPE lamp green, CPUOPE is not coming up at all,and status lamp is showing '1'.

- want to know my procedure is correct or any other procedure is there?
- can i use 8500 PcPro?
- any thing is missing from my end?
your reply is highly appreciated.

Whenever I bring up an IMX I follow the procedure listed below. This procedure uses the program floppy disks loaded in order starting with 1 of 14, then 1 of 4, etc.
CPU sense on C, power up CPU0, look for the rotating LCD. Brings CPU up off line.
CPU sense on 1, load disk 1 of 14, rotating LCD means it is done. Formats CF and builds folders.
CPU sense on 3, load disk 2 and ALL remaining disks with the customer disk last. Copies files.
Shut down CPU. Repeat with CPU1.
Power up CPU 0 with sense on 1, then CPU 1 with sense on 1.
After they are up, CPU 0 ACT, CPU 1 on STB, change both sense to 2.

Thank you Mr.Belvedere,

that was good information.
i think should follow the same procedure for IPX 2400, here i have only 1 Compact flash drive as per my understanding.
