I was under the impression that ALL IPS systems came with 1 or 2 PRI license as standard, but I have a salesperson telling me that my IPS was purchased with no PRI license .. can this be?

There is no license required for the IPS PRI's. It's a moot point since you cannot buy licenses for the IPS anymore. It is MFG. discontinued and no longer supported by NEC.

NEAX 2000IPS 64 Port System software (3900 Series) provides FIVE T1/E1/ISDN-PRI. So, you should have ISDN capability. Check Command F88-03 and whatever the number it shows after the : that's the number of ISDN spans you're licensed for. If it shows 0000 that means the basic core 64 port software was never loaded. You also need to have a 24PRTA card or a DTA9PRT) card.

Belvidere: This is a 2400 ... I the 2000 I know how to look for the features, but I am not sure in the 2400.
So instead of license, let me rephrase ... does an option have to be purchased to allow PRI's on the IPX .. oops, just saw the confusion...my original post said 2400 IPS ... this is in fact a 2400 IPX
