2400 Internal FTP

Does anyone have any insight as to why the internal ftp portion of my system is locking up continuously? i can unlock it by resetting the tcp stack on the system, but the next day the ftp portion is locked up again. i am using the ftp to transfer backup files from the 2400 to our MA 4000. i have 12 other PBX's that his works fine on. I have already checked the following areas; Backup parameters in the MA 4000, ftp user config in the MA 4000, ftp user account settings in the 2400, and internal server activation settings in the 2400. If anyone else has run across this or has any idea of where else to look, i would appreciate your input.

To add to this i am able to run a backup and transfer the files after resetting the tcp stack. I can even run back to back backups and transfer the files. i am thinking something to do with the nightly system maintenance...?
