Is there a way to program an overflow key on the switchboard during peak hours or using time of day to activate. I have looked and can change overflow on the board but it looks like it is constant (always on). Is that true or is there a way to turn it on when needed.

AOP - Attendant Overflow is triggered by time waited before answer, but as you mentioned, no schedule type capability.

The first thoughts I have are:

You can define how long calls must wait before it begins to overflow. In a perfect world, that might come close to the schedule you would turn on.

The AOP DN station can turn the capability on or off with a MSB key - and maybe a CFW key on the phone. That might mean having two phones ends up being esiest for them.

Have managed switcboards many times, I think the toughest part is the perception that "the other person is not keeping up the pace", which can snowball with both slowing down to see if the other would speed up.
