I have a site with loads of analogue lines, I'm sure on the 2250 you can select an individual for testing purposes? can someone give me a little help please?
This is what I used to use, but we don’t have any analogue lines for many years now so I'm not sure if it still works.
- Create a test set with CLS MTA
- Dial your SPRE code
- Dial 91 (You should see MAINTENANCE SET LOGGED IN Time Date on your TTY terminal)
- Dial 53#36## (53=LD #=space 36=36 ##=return)
- Dial 875#TN## (I.e. 875#4#11## to use TN 4-11)
You can see the commands you type/use on your TTY terminal so you can follow progress. You can use **** to logout the maintenance set (MAINTENANCE SET LOGGED OUT Time Date)

If Bill Gates had a nickel for every time Windows crashed... Oh wait, he does...
The console is great for testing analog trunks. Much easier than a maintenance set:
Press a LPK
Press Barge In (Programmed as BIN on the TN)
Dial Route Access Code + Route's Member Number + #
Hear dial tone or the conversation that is on the line.
You cannot "test" an analog phone TN, but you can enter a call on any DN:
Press a LPK
Press Busy Verify (Programmed as BVR on the TN)
Dial Extension to hear
Hear silence if idle, or the conversation that is on the line.
