Simple question - how can an attendant send a incoming call directly to a users callpilot voicemail box?

We have our express messaging setup as ex 2087. I believe that on my set I could put a call on hold, go into express messaging, find the mail box, and then do a transfer... but our consoles dont have a "transfer" button?

I apologize for my ignorance, our Nortel system is not my prime role here.

Thanks for any feedback.

It is not easy - quite confusing for an Operator, since they have to dial one number, then press a button, then dial another number.

The M2250 must have an EES key. The Operator gets a call, realizes the caller wants to leave a message, the Operator dials Express Messaging (2087 in your case), presses the EES key, dials the mailbox number, then #, then release.

Well that sounds like light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you so much for the resposne GHTROUT.

I dont see an "EES" key on our console:

Ive done a PRT on our normal set TN/DNs a number of times, but Im not sure how to look at the settings for our console? They each have an ACDN of 2000.

Thanks.

Go to LD 20 and REQ PRT, TYPE 2250 - that will print the consoles.

You add the key in LD 12

We're in luck, its key 02!!

Code:
KEY 00 BVR
KEY 01 BIN
KEY 02 EES
KEY 03 SSC 0001
KEY 04 PRK
KEY 05
KEY 06
KEY 07
KEY 08
KEY 09

Where is key 02 located on the m2250? Im guessing 3rd up from the bottom right? (ATM with a keytop label of "TONES"?)

Thank you so so much GHTROUT!

Yes, it is the button called "Tones" in your picture. that makes sense, since it is intended to send tones after you press it.
