I am working on a disaster recovery plan for our offices. We have CRS(custom redirect service) for our main number in one office that lets us redirect the main # to our other smaller office's main # Via the Vendor which is Verizon. This works fine.Problem is The receptionist that answers the main # in the smaller office only has a 2616 with add-on module and she will be overwhelmed with calls. Can I program 2 new consoles in a conf. rm at the smaller site and prog. an available DN on them as LDN's and then in the case of the re-direct go there plug them in and cfw the receptionist's phone to the LDN and the consoles will get the calls?Of course I will run the 25pr cables with the amphenol connectors and x-wire to the TN's for the consoles then just plug them in and enable them when needed.Any thoughts would be appreciated.Thanks-

this should work. instead of running 25pr cables why not use your structured building cabling as consoles only use 2 pair + power if you want & data if you want. this is for rj45 outlets. email me on bennettb@whl.co.nz if you want a copy
