2250 console connection??

I was always under the impression that the 2250 console needed (4) digital ports....(2) primary and secondary TNs and then (2) PWR TNs....I was moving an existing, working console and happened to remove the (2) PWR TN connections first and noticed the console still works!! Obviously I was under the wrong impression....

Any feedback???

It "can" run without PWR TNs. They are really there because the two 2250 TNs can't always power the huge contraption over distance.
