2250 Console and Callpilot 4.0

When a operator on a 2250 gets a callpilot tree they are unable to make a selection. When they press 1 nothing happens even if you press the EES. Any suggestions?

is this an outbound call or your own CallPilot?

If outbound what type of trunks is call going over?

If own call Pilot is console able to use express messaging or any other feature besides Menus?

If it is outside switch, how do you know it is call pilot?
