After power loss to pbx, attendant console phone lights up(backlight) but doesnt come up.
Tried downloading controller (xpec) and swapping out consoles but neither resolves the issue. OPT 61 ON RLS 23.
I've seen them change their need of power over the years. The most common mis-wire is the power TNs to the console. If the console is a distance from the PBX, it raises the likely hood of it needing power (however, power TNs are not a requirement for the M2250 to work if it is close enough).
I know "it used to work". But as I said, I have seen then not need power one day, and need it the next. Probably the age of some component, made worse by a commercial power blip.
Check the wiring and make sure the lines look like this:
I will check out the wiring according to your guide. The console is at least 100 ft from the PBX and has the third and fourth TN programmed for power. The front desk has a cable spliced to a 25 pr amphenol to connect to the console cable.
I appreciate the advice, I didn't know their power requirements could change with age.
do you get anything at all on the display? you should have the ability to go into the consoles menu, and try a reset from there also. but if you don't even get a menu, the it might be console.

Came in early and was able to swap out DLC without disrupting any service. Console came up. Used IDU command to determine the first power TN must have been the problem, because once the cards were swapped, the 2616 at that port (4-0-1-2) didnt come up.
