I have been asked to figure out if one of the 2 2245 gateways is being used. I know 1 of them is being used because of where the handsets are registering and via the information given out in the customer's DHCP scope.
The problem is the other 2245. The customer's IT guy tells me that he sees very little traffic on the 2245 in question. So I don't know if it's voice traffic or just heartbeat traffic. The customer only has one location that uses the handsets and I know that site points to the known working 2245. No other locations use these phones (that I know of). We did not install this setup so no one knows what the other 2245 is for.
I don't know if the customer upgraded to another box and just never removed this one or what. Their onsite techs don't know either. I know I can look at each phone's system information and see what server it's registered to, but is there a way on the SS via command line like isetShow that will tell me what server the handsets are registered to instead of having to look at each set individually?
Or what is the best way to find out if the 2nd box is being used?
