2211 Heat and Battery

Anyone using Nortel 2211 wireless VoIP phones? We are expreincing heat on ear piece for heavy user 102 to 103 degrees and also have battery drain issues. Spectralink says all working as it should.

they do get hot, i ahve always thought they undersized the batteries to make them smaller, it's not uncommom and i don't know of a cure.. i have the same thing from the cisco wireless we use at my site

John what kind of process did your site use for battery charge/mgmt? 2211 have 4 hr talk time max.,72 hours standy, ours are heavily used. What kind of talk time are you getting on the Cisco phones.
