Hi Guys
I have a problem where I am at home and somebody calls and wants their phone diverted to their cellphone. So is it possible to remotely divert a phone to an external number. I realise that there could be a security risk here but I dial into the system with PCanywhere and make changes.
Thanks in advance Brian:-D

The only way you could set a complete divert to a mobile would be using PELPI commands and setting the only answer position as their cellphone. Profile can ten be activated and deactivated in tty with PEALC.

The other way to do this is you must have OneBox and DNA working together. With this configuration you can dial in Onebox and forward your phone to anywhere you want via DNA's operator work station (OWS). Building such a configuration is expensive. But if you have these servers you can adapt your system to work like this.

?? Onebox and OWS don't work like that. If you are using Onebox as a call routing platform the it's ONEBOX that handles the traffic. Alternatively, if you have OWS you can use that to program diverts, but they don't work together.

On DNA there is VSI (voice system integration) service which has been released with DNA 4.0 SP4 to integrate Onebox with DNA. And on Onebox the feature of VIM (voice intercept messaging) is used.

You can get the switchboard operators to perform the diverts through their consoles.

UK market - *22* extension number to be diverted # Divert Position (external Number)#

i.e. *22*1234#90712345678#

cancellation is #22* Ext Number#

i.e. #22*1234#

If you have the later releases in software you can get dial tone from your PABX from remote locations using "Mobile Extension" - (This feature is licensed).

Operators can also invoke, Diverts and Personal number... details on thes can be found in the Manual (user guide) section on the Ericsson website

We give all our users who work from home an external diversion via Personal Number. We then set them up an authorisation code that lets them dial in to a DISA number which only allows internal calls. The users can swap their profiles remotely by dialing the DISA number then entering *75*<extn>*<extn># then *10*<extn>*<Profile number># We never get bugged anymore by users asking us to switch their diverts for them as they can do it themselves. You can even enter most of the number into your GSM phone then assign it to a speed dial. That way you just press a couple of keys then finish off the dial string with *10*<extn>*Profile number>#

Hi thanks Guys I don't have "one box" so that won't be an option 2. the operator is not always on duty when I get these calls. I do have mobile extension but would need to get some more licences & put in the A number for all those who would want to use this feture
Thanks Kronehead I will try the *75* route & set up a Disa number for it.
