At Fr./ Sa. 22. and 23 Oct., in a few days, the berLinux 2004 will happen.

The program is dedicated to a wide audience, from beginners to experts, from private user to the IT-department of buisiness companies, government- and other organisations.
Highlights will be:
- the opening with Georg Greve, Free Software Foundation Europe: "Freie Software - Nachhaltige IT-Strategie und Innovationsmotor"
- Florian Schießl "Die Migration in der Stadt München"
- Leon Shiman, Member of the Directorboard of X.Org Foundation "Vorstellung des neuen X.Org und des offenen Desktops"
- and the final speech with Jon 'Maddog' Hall
"Why Do Programmers Program? Why do Artists Create?"
and last but not least the Social Event friday night (registration needed).
Beside the Social Event (and the Government-Administrationforum at friday), entrance is for free to visitors.
