Morning all. I've a customer site where for the past three days, they've come into their office, and have no display on their sets. The first time it happened, I had them take a look at the system and tell if they saw any lights. They reported the processor & VM were solid green, and the 206's were flashing. When I arrived onsite, I rebooted and everything was fine. Yesterday the same, and I've just gotten a another call for the same symtoms. I'm thinking possibly the 206's are going bad or the carrier. I've spare 206's that I'm going to swap out and see if they resolve the issue. There hasn't been a power outage as no other equipment in the office has reset. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks In Advance.

I would say the first 206 has a power supply problem

I would replace it

is it acs or partner ?

I recently had a acs that wouldnt recognize anything other than the processor (proceewor , first 3 lines and 8 stations worked ) replced the processor there

if its a acs and if the processor and port within the processor work then I would say processor is bad

id its a earlyier partner 11 or plus then I think the 206 power supply

This a R6.0 processor that I replaced about 16 months ago. And there've been no issues with it other than my customers office is in a part of town that's notorious for power problems. I'm going there tomorrow morning early, to do some troubleshooting and try some of the thing mention in your other thread as the office is closed on the weekends. I'll let you know the results. Thanks for your help.

if there are known power issues I would have a large UPS between it and the outside world

Ditto what skip said. The power supplies on the 206 modules are a little sensitive.
