2050pc Softphones hot-seating

Hi There,

Our Sales dept is constantly moving around to "increase production", and so our AD/server team has setup hot seating so that any agent can just login and work at any PC. Unfortunatley we cannot get this to work with our Avaya 2050pc softphones (currently running v4.1) So each time an agent moves we have to manually configure the softphone.

So manually enter licence server, tick synmposium box and manually enter the Node and TN.

Please can you tell me if there is anyway for a PC to retain all its settings no matter who sits at that PC.

P.S. we are running a combination of win7 and XP machines.

You could use the virtual office login feature.

Upgrade to version 4.2.63 or higher. I would go to 4.3.85. The sig server is caching the HWID to the TN
