I've had one working for a while and now I get license failure.Any advise?

You switched to IP Softphone v3.

v3 requires a License and License Server.

Do I need to download the license server? This was working on 2.0 so I'm confused.

Download License Server and purchase Licenses.

If you do not wish to purchase any more licensing, I suggest you go back to 2050 v2.XX.

2050 v3 allows a trial period of 30 days free usage with no license server in place. After 30 days, trial expires. At that point you need to purchase licenses and build a licensing server.

I have two clients now are they the same as licences or is this a new scam by Nortel to get you to spend more money?I can't even install it off of a bcm 2.0 now and I'm assuming it because its been updated. I downloaded the 3v client and server but is still giving me a error.

Ive posted a couple threds regarding this , it is not compatible with BCM only cs1000. search past threds for a doc posted regarding this issue.
