2050 softphone getting invalid dn

I have a BCM 450. I am installing lots of 2050 softphones and I am about halfway through and when it asks for a dn I put an available one in and I get invalid dn. I have made the extension number an available analog station and a digital station and it still comes back invalid dn.

Was the DN ever assigned to a IP set? Check IP Terminals and see if it's listed as offline or online. If it's there deregister the DN.

Make sure it is inactive.

The dn was never assigned to a phone and is inactive I have made sure the extension numbers available..

Check your resources for ip phones allocated to the extn range

on a bcm450 you control the dn range for each card you install

Check your ip range DNs that you have allocated( default 16 extns)
Increase the range to suit and allow extra for expansion
