2033 ringer off

Is there a way to turn ringer off completely on a 2033 polycom set?
Seems to be just a volume adjustment

Use the
Mute
key on the main unit or any
extension speaker to mute the ringer and
speaker. The Status indicator LED blinks red
when mute is activated.

Sorry didn't work.... pressing mute key has no effect...no lights...
Are you suggesting pressing mute key when at rest? User doesn't want it ringing at all. An off hook causes speaker to still operate.

I was just posting out of the user guide. It could be the mute key only works while it is ringing

Try changing it to SCN/MCN instead of SCR/MCR.

I'm thinking that's the answer (SCN)
As long as we keep a record so we don't try to fix something that's OK.

Yep, and as soon as you make it SCN then here comes the trouble ticket. Does seem odd that you cant turn it off. What about DND, is that an option? Assign a Flexible Feature Code for DND?
