Hello Everyone,

I am working in a IHS/Websphere/MQSeries environment, utilizing MQ going over a firewall.
I have a querry that is very long.
Currently my WAIT option on my get is set for 30 minutes.
However, I am getting 2033rc's prior to reaching this.
Suggestions on what is going on would be much appreciated.
K.

What is the value that you are using for 30 minutes?

It's possible that you are GETing expired messages. A message which has expired will not be removed from the queue until a program actually tries to MQGET it. At this point it will be removed. However, if there are no further messages for your program to retrieve on the queue (which match the Message or CorrelId if applicable) you'll get a 2033.

Cheers,
Paul
