201i fail

I have a 201 in an old Opt 11. No idea the software level of the CP as now upon reboot, the status window cycles through the boot process, then says "warn" then "fail". Can I just take the hard drive and the media cards and dongle out and put them in/on a new 201i card? Or am I going to run into keycode trouble.

when I do a stat ELAN, I get

SERVER TASK: ENABLED

After doing to tracing of cable, I found that the patch cables go to a Nortel BPS data switch. Power light is on but no activity on any of the ports. There is a patch cable from the transceiver, and one to the server and one to the main PC. Plugging my laptop in, I get nothing.

turns out the Nortel switch was bad. Moved and vm came up.
