200ICP Door Open Relay

So I have a weird issue. on an 200icp cx controller running 3.1.0.18 i have a door relay programmed up.This allows anyone to punch in the access code and open the main gate - at least in theory.

Heres my issue - i've got everything rigged up to the "relay 1 normally open" connecter and pin-outs are correct. When I push the door open button I get continuity (meaning the relay closes) but it doesnt ever open back up again. Is there a timer somewher I can give it say a 5 second delay to re-open the now closed relay? Any ideas?

There is a five second time period before the relay opens again and it is not programmable.
Have you tried this with the equipment off and using a meter?

That is the only way I have tried it is with the meter - I havent actually plugged it in yet. Maybe i'm being too impatient. Ill let it go again and see if it releases after 5 seconds. Is there anything that would cause this to not work?

let me know what happens, there might be a KPI with that release of software, have you checked?
