200ICP DDS PAGE KEYS NOT WORKING 1

I have a 200icp customer that uses "dds page" programming to talk to internal extensions. Recently when they need to make these internal DDS/pages to each other's extensions the microphone symbol light will light up and they cannot talk back to the calling party without having to go back to the called set and push the lighted Microphone button "off". These folks swear no-one has made any changes in the 200 ICP and for years turning off the lighted Microphone key was not necessary to talk back to the calling party... Any Ideas?

For handsfree answer back, the Mic key must be activated PRIOR to the call.

How do I activate the MIC key? Does the end user have to activate the Mic Key everytime a DSS page comes to their phone or do they have to activate the Mic key only once to handle multiple DSS Pages???

When the phone is idle the user presses the mic key and it will then be lit continuously

When a Direct Page is initiated to the phone, the user can answer back handsfree.
