How can I stop the ringing of the consoles at a retirement home when a 911 call is dialed from within? They still want to monitor the 911 calls, but the ringing prevents any other calls coming in from being heard.

remove option 108 Attendant Audible Alarm in the COS of the console.

I would caution you about liability issues if the console does not have an audible alert and the person running the console doesn't "see" the 911 alert on the display in time and you were the phone "expert" that turned off the audible alert.

IMHO, I would request something in writing from your customer requesting the change with a "Hold Harmless" clause.
