2007 lost import specifications

We have databases created in Access 2003 (using 2000 file format) which had several Import Specifications in each db. We converted a copy of the database to 2007. When we import a CSV file (clicking Open, and locating the CSV file) and click Advanced, the Import Specification window is empty. Have we permanently lost the specifications? Did we miss something during the conversion?
