Beginning in 2007, Daylight Saving Time is extended one month and begins for most of the United States at:
2 a.m. on the Second Sunday in March
to 2 a.m. on the First Sunday of November.
We have a number of Nortel option switches that can already handle the new daylight savings time changes, but what I don't know is if our Norstar and BCM switches are going to be able to handle the new dates and times.
Questions - Will we need software patches for our Norstars and BCM's to handle the new automatic daylight savings time dates and times and is Nortel offering the patch for free?
Can't we just manually set the dates and times ourselves without the patches and how do I find the feature programming for daylight savings in the Norstars and BCM's?
