hi all,

2005.
When installing the Management tools, can you select Management Studio but somehow prevent Profiler and Database Tuning Wizard form being installed?

It looks like those are included in Management Studio by default.

Those are included as part of the client tools. If the user doesn't have the rights to use the database tuning wizzard or SQL Profiler then they will not be able to use them.
