2004 IP SET - NO VOLUME CONTROL

Several 3.7 installations have complained about not being able to turn up the volume on ringing for the IP sets. Either code for ringer volume or ringer type selection(although functional) will allow you to turn up the volume. Works fine on regular T and M series sets? Anyone else can confirm this to be the same on these sets on other software levels or is it a flaw to this level of software or the sets in general? NEED MORE VOLUME TO HEAR THE RINGING AROUND THE HOME OFFICE!

feature *80 then tun up ringer. Thats the only way digital or ip.

I'm not asking for the feature codes to turn up ringing or change the ringing type! I'm asking for someone to concur that they've tried adjusting the ringing volume on a 2004 IP set off-prem and that either their volume works or doesn't (like mine at a couple of installations) and what software level they're running or whether it's a flaw on 3.7 or a patch is required.

I have had the same problem with an i2004 phone at a remote site connected to a BCM50 (release 1 software). I can't increase the ringer volume. I plan on upgrading the BCm software to 2.0, hopefully that will fix the problem.
